Friendmas 2014

Proverbs 27:17 – As iron sharpens iron, So a woman sharpens the countenance of her friends.

Each year, since we were little middle school girls, a wonderful group of women and I get together around Christmas time to celebrate our friendship as well as everything that God has done in and through our lives. We cleverly named this event Friendmas. This special girls night out evening has literally become one of the things during the holiday season that I look forward to the most. Getting all dolled up, going out to a nice restaurant, laughing, talking about Gods goodness and graces in our lives and eating the night away all with my greatest gal pals in the whole wide world! Seriously, could it get any better?!?! I think not!.. unless we are in Heaven.

Through out the years being framily with these ladies has taught me a lot but one lesson rings true over and over again. True friendship never fades but just becomes brighter and more precious with time. It really doesn’t seem to matter how different our lives become, where we end up moving to, or what specific circumstance we find ourselves in. Regardless we have and continue to be a source of support, encouragement, wise counsel, truth and love in one anthers lives. We celebrate the really good times and we walk and pray our way through the really dificult ones life throws our way all together.

I love you ladies and know that one of the greatest blessings The Lord has gifted me is in each of your friendships! See you in 2015, if not before! 🙂

Much love & prayer,

Blair

These ladies and their friendship are some of the richest blessings God has given me in my life. What treasures!

KK and I! Been best friends since the first day of 6th grade and through it all we’ve continued to stick by each others side in earnest prayer, lots of laughter, a couple tears and some really good girl talk.
